Elderton Winery - Austrialia
Neil Ashmead & his wife Lorraine established Elderton Winery in 80’, it’s over 30 years ago from now. At present, mother Lorraine supported by sons Allister and Cameron, continues to produce impressive wines。The original source was 30ha of fully mature shiraz, cabernet sauvignon and merlot on the Barossa floor. Later on, 16ha of Eden Valley vineyards (shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, zinfandel, merlot and roussanne) were incorporated into the business. The Rohrlach Vineyard, with 75+-year-old shiraz, is under long-term lease and managed by the Ashmead family.
After a decade of hard work Elderton Wines becomes well-known in the wine world. They are the winners in many international wine competition. Elderton has also enjoyed being the darling of the worlds wine press, with great endorsements given by James Halliday, Robert Parker, Wine Spectator. Furthermore, in 2005, Elderton was named in the Top 100 Wineries in the World by Wine & Spirit Magazine
