2020 Bodegas Exeo Creaciones CIFRAS Tinto

Varietal: 100% Red Grenache
Region: Rioja, Alavesa, Labastida
Vineyard: located in El Barranco del Oso in the hillside of Sierra de Tolono.
Harvest: harvested by hand
Barrel/Concrete: concrete egg shaped vats.
Alcohol: 13.5%
Winemakers Comments: Fermentation takes place in cement vats. Then the aging occurs in concrete eggs-shaped during 12 months with its lees, and a daily batonâge. Winery’s aim here is to preserve the purity of fruit and the minerality of our vineyards, we would like to emphasise the minerality in hillside of Sierra de Toloño joined Red Granache grape variety.

Style/Palate/Aormas: red candy mix with very intense aromas of vegetation,
Food Pairing : barbecue, spoon dishes, tuna.
Drinkable Period : 2022 - 2028
Expert Comment : This has pretty aromas of strawberries, coffee beans, sage and mulberries. Pink chilis, too. It’s fresh and medium-bodied, with fine and tight tannins and a delicious, peppery finish. – James Suckling
