2019 Bodegas Exeo Creaciones CIFRAS Blanco

Varietal: 100% White Grenache
Region: Rioja, Alavesa Labastida
Vineyard: 2 different vineyards of Labastida
Vine Age: one of vineyard 20 years old, another one 80 years old.
Harvest: harvested by hand, place in plastic crates of 14 kilos
Barrel/Concrete: concrete egg shaped vats.
Alcohol: 13.5%
Winemakers Comments: without any maceration, go to the neumatic press, with the stem included, a light press, after than will go to the concrete eggs to the fermentation during a year with their lees. After that, we will let the bottle settle for 18 months.
Color : Straw yellow color, bright and clear.
Style/Palate: elegant and frank, the wine is long and dense, finishing fresh and clean.
Aormas: citrus aromas such as grape fruit and lemon.
Food Pairing : rice, powerful meals like oily fish. Cifras White is a fantastic glass of wine after the desert.
Drinkable Period : 2022 - 2025
Expert Comment : some tannin from whole bunch pressing, it is textured and honeyed, with notes of pear and boiled sweets and a stony finish.
