Vineyard: Careful pruning, restriction of yields, vine canopy manipulation and sustainable practices producing the best fruit possible. Cuddles Creek and Ashton vineyards
Grape Variety: 100% Pinot Noir
- Region: Adelaide Hills
Winemaker’s Comment: Hand-picked harvest. 30% whole bunch inclusion in ferment. Wild ferment. Pressed to French oak puncheon when sugar dry. 40% new oak.. Lees daily stirred. Stay with lees 7 months. The wine is bottled unfined and sulphur added prior to bottling
Style : There’s a general lightness and red fruit character in this wine.
Aroma; Cranberry, pomegranate and some roasted coffee beans.
Palate: it seems the oak suit fits the fruit intensity, all flows nicely with fine, soft, velvety tannins
Alcohol: 13%
Ageing: old French Oak 7 months
