Winemakers Comments: A dry spring preceded and hot summer in The Riverland, which meant vintage was short, sharp and hectic! Whilst not without its challenges, the warm conditions meant that the hardy, heat tolerant Southern Italian varieties that we work with proved their worth, developing primary fruit depth whilst holding natural acidity well. After several years of cooler conditions, the 2025 wines are punchier than recent vintages, defined by bolder flavors without sacrificing thirst slaking drinkability
Each variety was picked, pressed off straight away and fermented separately. Blended and bottled, the last bit of primary fermentation was finished in the bottle to create the “petillant naturel” style.
Style/Palate: Blush salmon in the glass, citrus fruits dominate this year. Orange blossom on the nose with delicate oily freshness, orange sherbert and mandarin peel oil coat the mouth.
