2025: GewurzBomb History: Smallfry Wines s is a proud to accounce that our vineyards and our winery are all Certified Organic/Biodynamic as of April 2014. All of our wines are made using small batch processes to showcase the particular characters and flavors of the sub-regions of the Barossa Valley wine region. Vinification & Winemaking: Such are the vagaries of wine production our outsourced Gewurtz Traminer disappeared in a puff of bulldozer smoke, so we are back to our own fruit. We have planted more Gewurtz for the future, but this year’s has a smaller proportion in the blend. Our pink semillon is an important parcel both for colour and flavour. 2025 saw us dealing with a frost of unbefore seen proportions covering our whole property which resulted in yields half of what we would normally expect, quality was very good. Region::Barossa Valley Production: 1,800 bottles Grape Variety: 40% Gewürztraminer, 60% Red Semillon Color: Deep yellow/orange. Style : Orange wine Aroma: Lychee tropical, rose water, elderberry, ginger snaps Palate: Mouth filling with some nice grainy tannin, citrus pith and acidity. Ginger spice in the finish. Alcohol: 13.4 %
