Roberto Olivan is one of the most intereting winemakers within the new generation of Rioja producers. He workswith almost 10 hectares of family vineyards and other new vineyards with very defined characteristics: high altitude (620 meters) and most of the vineyards located in replanted or flat formations at the top of the mountain with characteristic limestone and sandstone marl soils that give his wines their own personality. He is one of the voices that rejuvenate the wine scene in Rioja. To make it a relaity, he devided to establish his vineyards between Lanciego and Vinaspre, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa.
