Introduction: D.O. Rueda produces high quality wines. Especially in the local breed "Verdejo" brewed white wine, more internationally recognized.
Vineyard Information:
Soil: Organic matter poor soil. Gravel and clay and limestone that are very beneficial to plants
Variety: 100% Verdejo
Vine Age: 50 years old vine
Color: Yellow straw color with deep green reflection
Style/Palate: dry white wine, tasty and aromatic with a good entry. Fresh and elegant with a very good backbone. Complex, aniseed and persistence on the finish.
Aromas: Intense and varietal aromas on the nose with herby and balsamic hints aniseed base and complemented with home fruits and citric touches doing a fresh wine.
Alcohol: 13%
Drinkable Period: now - 2021
Winemaking: Grape has a maceration for extraction aromatic polyphenois for 8 hours to 7℃. Long fermentation between 14-16℃ and the wine stays with its lees for 3 months
Expert Comment: Wide palate, delicious aromatic creamy. Have a good structure and acidity and fruit finish at the end.
