Expert Score & Comment :
--- 97 points, James Suckling :
A very complex and convincing young chardonnay that has superior weight of fruit, which also sets it apart. Aromas of white peaches, lemons and yellow grapefruit are married with subtly flinty reduction and hints of praline, as well as oak spice. The palate fills out with peach-sorbet, nectarine and lemon flavors and holds long, precise and even.”

--- 97 points, James Halliday :
“A selection of vineyards and barrels, whole berry (destemmed in common parlance), wild-fermented in tight-grain oak (50% new), 50% mlf, 19 months maturation. This is all about the length and persistence of a high quality wine, grapefruit, lemon and white flesh stone fruit all contributing.”

--- 96 points, Mike Bennie, Wine Front
“Strong struck match and flint scents, almost completely dominating fruit character, though a peep of white pear emerges behind. The palate is skeletal but lightly juicy, impressively taut, lengthy and racy, holds incredible sense of freshness and vitality, skims long into a green pear/lime juice finish.”
