Varietal Composition : 100 Red Grenache
Region : D.O. CATALUNYA
Vineyard : 650 meter altitude in Odena (Barcelona).
Harvest : manually in boxes of 10kg, on the first week of October.
Barrel/Amphora : Concrete /Amphora
Soil : calcareous, mineral and gypsum
Alcohol : 14.5%      PH : 3.5     
Residual Sugar : 6.8 g/L
Winemakers Comment's : The Exedra Red is 100 % fermented in Amphoras and aged about 8/9 months in amphoras of 800 liters. The Amphoras are internally sprayed with beeswax. The Exedra red fermented with skins. Organic wine not filtered.
Color : Cherry red color with brilliant tones.
Style/Palate : Elegant and harmonious between color aroma and taste. Very good acidity.
Aromas : Expressive. Intense raspberry with aroma of forest fruits with notes of spices and toffee.
Food Pairing : Game meat, pasta, rice, blue fish. Cured cheeses, stews.
Drinkable Period : 2020 ─ 2026
Expert Comment : The red 2017 Exedra is produced with Garnacha grapes and has a creamy nose, unlike the majority of reds matured in clay pots, with a lactic touch and notes of fruits of the forest. It's balanced and easy to drink, with a gentle texture and almost unnoticeable tannins. There is ripeness but without excess. 8,416 bottles produced.
