Vineyard : Fruit from the vineyards of Oakbank, mainly facing the east slope. Situated in the eastern part of Adelaide Hills, daytime warm temperatures help Shiraz mature, while the afternoon breeze, as well as the cool night temperatures, help keep the natural acidity and give cool weather to the Syrah features.

Winemaking : the smallest impact on winemaking is an important factor in ensuring the vineyard thrives, with the entire bundle and the entire berry fermenting in a small 1-ton open trough. This traditional approach offers an incredible aroma of spices and cloves, while adding a delicate texture to the wine. Oak maturity remains at a minimum, with older French oak for 9-10 months, expressing the best vineyard features.
Expert Comment : Growth in cool climate Syrah performance, rose jam with meat flavors, pepper and stain slate-like tannins. Distinctive, elegant red charm. Almost as graceful as pinot.
